SCO ID#: 21-23137-01A Project consist of replacement of approximately 250 squares of single ply roofing with new TPO system and approximately 100 squares of asphalt shingle roofing with new asphalt shingles, along all required terminations and flashings Completion- 120 consecutive calendar days 1. The project involves the replacement of the entire single ply and shingle roofing areas for the Hardy Building at the Caswell Center in Kinston, NC. 2. The existing single ply areas will consist of removal of the existing single ply roofing system down to the existing deck and replace with the system specified. 3. The existing sloped roof has shingles attached directly to wood decking. The existing shingle roofing is to be removed, and gutters, downspouts and sheet metal that are to remain unless noted otherwise. An allowance will be provided to replace deteriorated plywood substrate on the sloped roof, ice and water barrier/standard underlayment and a new fifty (50) year asphalt shingle system added on the plywood decking. 4. Provide standard underlayment for the sloped sections of the roof and provide with ice and water barrier at the valleys and at the building perimeter for a distance of 26" minimum from the edge of the roof. 5. The existing arched dormers are to be removed and replaced with pre-fabricated copper clad dormers to match the size and shape of the existing. New bracing and louvers will be required. New insect screens are to be provided. 6. Approximate roof areas are shown on the drawing cover page.
