Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Seattle, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Remove and properly dispose/ recycle of existing synthetic turf. Replace with a new synthetic turf system to include shock attenuation pad, any associated sub-base repairs, installation of accessible concrete pathway along the perimeter of the field's edge If the Work is not Substantially Complete within the number of Working Days indicated above, the Contractor shall pay to the Owner, as Liquidated Damages, the sum of One Thousand Dollars ($1.000.00) for each Working Day that the Work has not achieved Substantial Completion exclusive of those days where the Engineer has granted an extension of time. The Owner and the Contractor agree that establishing the precise amount of actual damage incurred by Owner due to delay would be difficult to determine. The Contractor hereby agrees the amounts set forth as Liquidated Damages are reasonable amounts and are not a penalty Requests for clarification are due Thursday, January 27, 2022 5:00:00 PM [(UTC-08:00) Pacific Time (US & Canada)].
