**As of March 15, 2022, project was awarded to Astro Turf Corporation but awarded amount is not available.** The successfully selected vendor will be responsible for installing a new Synthetic Turf Field to replace the
existing natural grass and drainage on the football-stadium field at Petersburg High School, located at 3101
Johnson Road, Petersburg, VA 23805. The Scope of Work shall include investigation and analysis of the
existing field conditions, develop preliminary and final design of proposed synthetic turf field, to include,
but not be limited to, drainage replacement, storm water management, and construction drawings in
compliance with all Standards, Codes and Regulations.
All work, including any architectural, engineering, civil/surveying, geotechnical and other portions of the Work
shall be planned and designed by, or under the immediate supervision of, a licensed Architect or Engineer, who
has the expertise in the particular discipline involved. Any sub-contracted work shall be performed by the
consultants, associates, or subconsultants/ subcontractors proposed by the Offeror during the selection process
as part of the Offeror's team. The successful Offeror shall be solely responsible for any work performed under
the Contract by its consultants, associates, or subcontractors. This project is a natural grass athletic field conversion to a multipurpose synthetic turf athletic
field in which the contractor shall furnish all labor materials, materials, equipment and tools
necessary to convert the existing natural grass field to synthetic turf including installation of
typical Sand/Rubber In-Fill Synthetic Turf System as indicated on the drawings and as specified
herein. The installation of all new materials shall be performed in strict accordance with the
Synthetic Turf Manufacturer's instructions and in accordance with all approved shop drawings.
A Synthetic Turf System includes all earthwork, base construction and athletic field surface.
