In compliance with this Invitation for Bids and to all the conditions imposed therein, the undersigned agrees to furnish the goods/services at the price(s) indicated In the Pricing Schedule. PURPOSE: This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is being issued to establish a term contract to perform athletic equipment and spectator seating inspections, maintenance, and repair services for the Hanover County Public Schools (HCPS) on an annual or "as needed" basis. Services shall include, but not be limited to: indoor telescopic bleachers, basketball systems including the backboard and mounting/brackets, gymnasium divider curtains and other relevant gymnasium equipment as deemed necessary. All work shall be performed in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations. 1.2 CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS: The Contractor shall: A. Comply with all contract requirements, including those in the purchase order for specific jobs. B. Perform required tasks and produce timely outcomes of the required quality in an efficient and cost effective manner. C. Furnish through its workforce or subcontractors, the appropriate and necessary supervision, labor, tools, equipment, machinery, materials, supplies, and other services. The Contractor shall furnish all equipment and machinery, including scissor lifts, transportation, insurance, taxes, superintendence, coordination and miscellaneous services required for the completion of work requested by the County. D. Perform inspections in accordance with the requirements outlined in the latest published versions of the following codes, standards: NFPA 102 Standard for Grandstands Folding and Telescopic Seating, Tents and Membrane Structures, ICC 300 Standard for Bleachers, Folding & Telescopic Seating and Grandstands, applicable building codes and local requirements. E. Inspection of gym divider curtains should include the evaluation of the conditions and operation of existing equipment to ensure that the equipment is in safe condition, is installed properly, and operates in accordance with applicable manufacturer's recommendations. F. Inspection of the basketball backboards and associated equipment should include the evaluation of the condition and operation of winches, tension cables, safety straps, bolts, clamps, and protective padding. G. Citations of any applicable codes, standards or consensus guidance that apply to the specific deficiencies noted by the inspections should be provided.
