Reference Number 0000215503 Source ID PP.CO.MB.557691.C74921 Purchase Type One Time Only- Delivery Date:See description Bid Intent Not Available Question Acceptance Deadline 2022/01/26 04:00:00 PM CST REFURBISHMENT OF KEEYASK ICE BOOM COMPONENTS, AND SUPPLY & INSTALLATION OF KELSEY MULTI-PURPOSE SAFETY/ICE/DEBRIS BOOM AND KEEYASK SAFETY BOOM DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK The Work includes the refurbishment of the Keeyask ice boom components, the supply and installation of an all-season multi-purpose safety/ice/debris boom at Kelsey Generating Station, the supply and installation of a safety boom at Keeyask Generating Station and the removal of the Keeyask temporary navigational warning buoys. Descriptions of ITEMS of the Work listed below are provided as a general overview. There are 19 total Type C mooring buoys available. Five (5) are required for the Keeyask GS safety boom, one (1) will be kept on-site as a spare. All 19 Type A pontoons will be refurbished. Seventeen (17) are required for the Keeyask GS safety boom, two (2) will be kept on-site as spares. All seventy four (74) Type B pontoons will be refurbished. Fifty (50) are required for the Keeyask GS safety boom and six (6) will be kept on-site as spares. Sixteen (16) will be used for the Kelsey GS multi-purpose boom and two (2) will be kept on-site as spares. The Contractor will be responsible for the disposal of all ice boom components that are labeled "Discard" in the Keeyask Safety Boom Inspection Report (Appendix 5), that are not required/useable in ITEMS 2&3, or as required. The Work is expected to Commence upon contract award, with in-water drilling occurring no earlier than July 16, 2022 and ending before August 31, 2022 (Kelsey GS only). Both the Kelsey GS boom and Keeyask GS safety boom should be installed no later than September 30, 2022.
