All project work shall be substantially completed within the stated timeframe. This project is subject to liquidated damages as prescribed within the project manual. Award of Contract: All proposals submitted in accordance with the instructions presented herein will be subject to evaluation. Bids may be held by the Sponsor for a period not to exceed 90 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of conducting the bid evaluation. Award of contract will be based on the lowest aggregate sum proposal submitted from those bidders that are confirmed as being responsive and responsible. The right is reserved, as the Sponsor may require, to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bids received. Award of contract is contingent upon the owner receiving Federal funding assistance under the Airport Improvement Program. Notice to Proceed: March/April 2022 Contract time requirements: 30 working days for Schedule I and Alternate I Schedule I - Install New 4,000 Gallon Jet "A" Fuel System This schedule is to install a new 4,000 gallon Jet "A' Fueling System. This will include the tank, piping, pumps, filters, valves, meters, hose, hose reel, static reel, and other required equipment to provide a complete and fully functioning Jet "A" fuel system that meets the requirements of 2022 Edition of NFPA 407 and typical aviation industry standards. This will also include site grading, installing the tank foundation and running the needed electrical power and controls. This new fuel system will need to be tied in with the existing QtPod 4000 card reader system that is mounted on the foundation of the existing AvGas System. Alternate I - Install Explosion Proof Area Light This will be the installation of an explosion proof light to be located between the existing AvGas Fueling System and the New Jet "A" Fueling System. This will include the light, pole/mast, foundation and electrical work required for a complete and working light.
