All bids, including courier envelopes, should be clearly marked both inside and outside, as containing a "Sealed Bid for Project No. LR-CM-PF-17-011 Street and Drainage Improvements. Representatives of the Owner, Engineer, and Grant Consultant will be present to discuss the overall Project and Contract Requirements. All Bidders are encouraged to attend. Meeting minutes will be available upon request. Any requests for clarification to the meeting minutes should be provided to the Engineer at least five (5) days prior to the date set for opening Bids. The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, and Form of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond, and other contract documents may be examined at the following locations: City of Hartselle located at 611 Chestnut St. NW, Hartselle, AL and CDG Engineers located at 6767 Old Madison Pike, Suite 240 Huntsville, AL 35806. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit, with its bid, security in the amount of, form of and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246. No bidder may withdraw its bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
