This RFB is for the construction of 1 - 100'x40' and 1 - 100'x20', 3 sided, steel framed, equipment storage buildings. Construction of buildings will include but is not limited to foundation prep and construction, building frame construction, metal siding installation, metal roofing installation, and gutter and down spout installation. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, irrevocable letter of credit, or bid bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid. All Bidders must submit a list of their first-tier subcontractors. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive technicalities, and to award the contract to the lowest responsive responsible Bidder. The Board of Commissioners may reject any Bid not in compliance with all prescribed public contracting procedures and requirements and may reject all Bids upon a finding that it is in the public interest to do so. Start and Completion Dates: The Work covered by this Project shall begin March 27, 2024 and be completed by June 30, 2024. Once work commences, the Contractor must maintain continuous work to ensure the Project is completed prior to June 30, 2024.
