The intent of this Request for Supplier Qualifications (RFSQ) is to obtain the services of skilled tradesmen/ contractors to perform general repairs and small renovation work at DSBN facilities, for a three (3) year period beginning May 1, 2022. The DSBN will pre-qualify approximately eight (8) Contractors for projects less than $15,000 on a time and materials basis. Respondent(s) who have previously been qualified to provide the services as described herein, or who are currently performing work for the DSBN must also respond to this request to be considered for future work assignment. The DSBN Facility Services Department will assign work to Contractors on the basis of "best fit" subject to the availability of the Contractor to meet DSBN requirements. The following are representative of the services which may be required: - Structural carpentry - framing, blocking, sheathing - Finish carpentry - moulding and trim work, cabinetry, casement work - Installation and repair of acoustical tile ceilings; included in the installation and repair is all grid work, wire, hardware, and accessories - Installation, repair, finishing and painting of sheet rock; installation and repair of metal or wood stud framing - Decking and flooring work, including sub-flooring and finished flooring (wood, vinyl tile, and vinyl rolled flooring) - Construction and repair of outside structures including decks, porches, pavilions, wood fences, and signage - Installation and repair of insulation (batted and rolled, insulation board, and insulation coverings) - Construction and/or installation of cabinets and counters - Ceramic wall and floor tile installation - Concrete repairs and concrete forming - Terrazzo repairs - Installation of bulletin board, chalk boards, projection screens and other equipment in DSBN facilities - Painting This is not an all-inclusive list. Other types of repairs and renovations may be required.
