The Town of Babylon, Commissioner of General Services, Division of Purchasing will receive sealed proposals for: BID NO. 22G07 CONTROLLED DEMOLITION WITH ASBESTOS IN PLACE AT; 462 ARNOLD AVE. W. BABYLON NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE GRANTED. Do not remove any pages, all bids are to be submitted intact. For information call (631) 957-3025. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Each Proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond made payable to the Town of Babylon, in the amount of, five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. NOTE: AN APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM APPROVED BY THE NYS DEPT. OF LABOR IS REQUIRED FOR ALL PROJECTS IN EXCESS OF 250,000.00. THIS REQUIREMENT APPLIES TO ALL PRIME CONTRACTS AND ALL THEIR RESPECTIVE SUB-CONTRACTS, REGARDLESS OF THE SUBCONTRACT AMOUNT, FOR ALL TRADES NECESSARY TO COMPLETE THE WORK. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS REQUIREMENT, MAY BE CAUSE FOR YOUR BID TO BE REJECTED. The Town of Babylon encourages minority and women owned businesses to participate in all bids.
