The City of Modesto Utilities Department, Wastewater Division is requesting a Contractor to provide Digester Cleaning. Bids will be received only at the address shown above, and prior to the time indicated. Any bid received at or after said time and/or date, or at a place other than the stated address cannot be considered and will be returned to the bidder unopened. All bids, whether delivered by an employee of the bidder, U.S. Postal Service, courier or package delivery service must be received and time stamped at the stated address prior to the time designated. The City Clerk's time stamp shall be considered the official timepiece for the purpose of establishing the actual receipt of bids. The City of Modesto assumes no responsibility for delay in the delivery of the bid. No Pre-Bid Meeting Written Questions Due January 19, 2022. All questions regarding these specifications, terms, and conditions shall be submitted in writing to Carol Wattle, Buyer, via email at: cwattle@modestogov.com Payment of Prevailing Wage is Required Bid Award Approximately May 2022 Deliver or mail bids to the referenced address, only, as indicated in the Notice to Bidders No bidder may withdraw his/her bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date set for the opening thereof. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities or minor irregularities in a bid.
