Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Baraboo, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and playground / park / athletic field.

This project is being let using the single prime bidding and contracting process. DFD will publicly bid the applicable mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection (MEP) divisions of work first. Within 5 days of the MEP bid opening, DFD will identify a lowest, qualified, responsible, certified bidder in each applicable MEP division of work. These successful MEP bids must be included in all general prime contractor bids received. No later than 5 days after DFD identifies the successful MEP bids, DFD will publicly open general prime contractor bids. General prime contractor bids that do not include the successful MEP bids will be rejected. The state will enter into a single contract with the lowest, qualified, responsible, certified general prime contractor and this general prime contractor will enter into subcontracts with the successful MEP bidders. If a project does not include any mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or fire protection divisions of work, DFD will bid one bid package for all work to general prime contractors. In general the work consists of This project will demolish the existing Cliffwood Campground Toilet Shower Building (originally built in 1971) and replace it with a new toilet shower building at its current location. The new building will improve ADA access to the shower and toilet elements and improve the maintainability and functionality of the building. The project will also include water infrastructure, septic system upgrades, campsite electrical panel relocation, demolition of two vault toilets and construction of one new vault toilet, new host campsite with full hookup for water, sewer and power, site parking for six stalls plus two ADA stalls, and reconstruction of walking paths to improve ADA access to campground areas including access to the new toilet shower building.
