Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Snowden, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
For the installation of 2-3000mm x 25.0m diameter culverts located on SE 24-52-19W2 in the RM of Torch River No. 488. If the contractor fails to achieve Substantial Performance of the work or, if applicable, of part of the work, within the contract time or times, the contractor shall pay to the Rural Municipality an amount equal to the sum of: a. Five Hundred Dollars ($500) as liquidated damages and not as penalty for each calendar day the work is not substantially complete after the substantial date of completion. The said sum being a fair estimate of the actual damages the Rural Municipality will incur if the work is not completed by the said substantial completion date. b. Five Hundred Dollars ($500) as liquidated damages and not as penalty for each calendar day the work remains uncompleted after the date of final completion.
