Scope of Work: Scope includes, but is not limited to, the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, tools, disposal, services and incidentals for selective demolition of the aquarium area and replacements of doors and transoms at the Anne Kolb Nature Center Exhibit Hall, located at 751 Sheridan Street, Hollywood, FL 33019. Goal Participation: This solicitation is reserved for Broward County certified Small Business Enterprises. Refer to the Office of Economic and Small Business Development Requirements Section for additional information. Basis of Award: Award of this contract will be made to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder by total bid price. County/State License Requirements: In order to be considered a responsive and responsible Vendor for the scope of work set forth in this solicitation, the Vendor must possess a specified license at the time of submittal (refer to Special Instructions for requirements). Questions and Answers: The County provides a specified time for Vendors to ask questions and seek clarification regarding the requirements of the solicitation. All questions or clarification inquiries must be submitted through BidSync by the date and time referenced in the solicitation document (including any addenda). The County will respond to all questions via Periscope. Bid Allowance Amounts: The solicitation includes allowances. It is not necessary to add your allowance amounts into your bid prices. Periscope S2G will automatically add the allowance amounts indicated to your bid total and will be reflected on final bid tabulation. It is the Vendor's sole responsibility to assure its response is submitted and received through Periscope by the date and time specified in the solicitation. The County will not consider solicitation responses received by other means. Vendors are encouraged to submit their responses in advance of the due date and time specified in the solicitation document. In the event that the Vendor is having difficulty submitting the solicitation document through Periscope, immediately notify the Purchasing Agent and then contact Periscope for technical assistance.
