Notice to Bidders Comstock Public Schools is accepting bids for Comstock Middle School single occupancy bathroom upgrades. Bid questions can be sent to Facility Director Sean Gillette at sean.gillette@comstockps.org. o Remove floor tile, prep and level surface, and replace with LVT that coordinates with wall tile and surrounding decor. o Remove wall tile (as needed) and replace to a height of 4 feet with, Daltile, blue and white intermixed to match newly remodeled group bathrooms. o Areas above the 4 foot tile line to be painted (Sherwin Williams 7632) Modern Gray o Remove water closets and replace with American Standard Model # 2858128.020. If carriers need replacing, we can discuss once known and charge us T&M. Seat must also be provided as part of installation. o Remove T.P dispensers (CPS to replace) o Remove and replace surface mounted ceiling lights with NICOR DSE8, LED light, and 4000k. Comparable lights will be accepted. o Change doors/frames to swing out into the classroom space if deemed appropriate. Two LH outswing and four RH outswing. o All old materials and equipment removed to be discarded by the contractor and will require a 20-yard dumpster at the contractor's expense. All proposals will include the availability of this work to be completed over summer break 2022 if bid is accepted.
