The project is officially known as "Edgewood Drive & Hillside Court Reconstruct (Pulverize and Overlay)". The project is described as repaving a portion of Edgewood Drive and Hillside Court with the additional alternative 1 of repaving Trail Way Drive and Trail Way Court with the additional alternative 2 of repaving Shady Lane. This project will consist of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the construction of the Edgewood Drive & Hillside Court Reconstruct (Pulverize and Overlay) located in the Town of Grafton. Base Bid - A. Edgewood Drive and Hillside Court - Approx. 3,700 feet - Pulverizing existing pavement, 4" overlay in two lifts, shouldering, and restoration. B. Work is described in general, non-inclusive terms as furnishing all tools, labor, materials, equipment, and miscellaneous items necessary for the: 1. Pulverization and reshaping of approximately 9,045 SY of asphalt pavement. 2. Placement and compaction of approximately 1,370 tons of asphalt binder and approximately 820 tons of asphalt surface. 3. Placement of approximately 700 tons of 1-1/4" stone as shouldering. 4. Final Restoration of all disturbed areas. ALTERNATIVE 1 A. Trail Way Drive and Trail Way Court - Approx. 2,700 feet - Pulverizing existing pavement, 4" overlay in two lifts, shouldering, and restoration. B. Work is described in general, non-inclusive terms as furnishing all tools, labor, materials, equipment, and miscellaneous items necessary for the: 1. Pulverization and reshaping of approximately 6,600 SY of asphalt pavement. 2. Placement and compaction of approximately 1000 tons of asphalt binder and approximately 600 tons of asphalt surface. Final Restoration of all disturbed areas. ALTERNATIVE 2 C. Shady Lane - Approx. 1,000 feet - Pulverizing existing pavement, 4" overlay in two lifts, shouldering, and restoration. D. Work is described in general, non-inclusive terms as furnishing all tools, labor, materials, equipment, and miscellaneous items necessary for the: 1. Pulverization and reshaping of approximately 2,450 SY of asphalt pavement. 2. Placement and compaction of approximately 370 tons of asphalt binder and approximately 220 tons of asphalt surface. 3. Placement of approximately 190 tons of 1-1/4" stone as shouldering. 4. Final Restoration of all disturbed areas.
