Site work and new construction of a residential development in Brothers, Oregon. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
**As of February 8, 2022. Project was awarded to Excel NW LLC for $549,785.00. Anticipate start is April/May. The purpose of this ITB is to establish a Contract for constructing a one-story house consisting of structural wood frame, pre-engineered wood roof trusses and floor joists on new cast-in-place concrete footings and foundation walls complete with crawl space for the benefit of ODOT . Liquidated Damages. Failure to achieve Substantial Completion by the time specified above for Substantial Completion will result in damage to the State of Oregon. Since actual damage will be difficult to determine, it is agreed that the Contractor shall pay to the State of Oregon, not as a penalty but as liquidated damages, $1000.00 per calendar day for each day elapsed in excess of the Substantial Completion date specified in Section 3 of this Agreement until Substantial Completion is achieved.
