Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The intent of this RFP is to obtain an offer to complete the Work to replace the Synthetic Field Turf Surface of Huskies Stadium in Homburg Fitness Centre of Saint Mary's University, Halifax, NS. The project scope includes (but is not limited to): 1. Removal and off-site disposal of the existing synthetic turf and infill. 2. Review and, if necessary, repair of the existing elastic layer. 3. Supply and installation of all new material of approximately 10,305m2 of synthetic turf playing field surfacing, incorporating 100% true mono-filament fibres that meets all testing requirements of the most current FIFA Quality Pro synthetic turf product standards, except for the Lisport XL test whereas the product must have successfully completed 6,000 cycles. The product is to have a pile height of 50mm. The supply and installation of the synthetic turf field is to include all infill, game lines, event markings, and logos. The synthetic turf surface is to be installed over the existing elastic layer. Refer to the detailed specifications and drawings for the complete requirements.
