This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by the University of Ottawa (the "University") to prospective proponents to submit proposals for 2020044-RFP | Access Control Integrator & Campus CCTV; The University of Ottawa has numerous readers Facility Commander Wnx system. The system not only controls access controlled doors, but also controls access to AV podiums, elevators, intrusion detection alarm points and some life safety alarms. The currently operated access control system at the university has reached its end of life and support for the product ceased by end of 2020. As a result, the University has initiated a process to modernize its access control infrastructure. On a high level, the replacement system was guided by the following main principles: have integration capabilities, remain a cost-effective technology, forward looking, secure, intelligent, open and flexible. This request for proposal is for all labour and material for the removal of the current Facility Commander Wnx system hardware from 42 buildings, and replacement.
