Any questions can be answered by contacting Rhiannon Mills, Contract Specialist at 941.743.1374 or email: rhiannon.mills@CharlotteCountyFl.gov It is the intent of Charlotte County to secure the services of a Contractor to furnish all material, labor, equipment and all other associated appurtenances required to successfully provide performing all operations in connection with the NWPC Interior Waterway System canal dredging as indicated in the Plans and Technical Specifications. Estimated budget $700,000. The Project is located on the north side of the Myakka River, within Northwest Port Charlotte, west of State Road 776 and extends from Markham Waterway to Bayshore Waterway. The design depth is -4.7 feet NAVD (-3.5 feet MLW) with a typical width of 25 feet as shown on the Contract Plans. Excavation of the dredge areas shall be by mechanical or hydraulic means. The Project includes dredging six (6) Dredge Areas: Markham, Cheshire, Apollo, Jupiter, Bayshore, and Ingersol Waterways. final completion date of no later than December 31, 2022
