Site work and paving for a road / highway in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Asphalt resurfacing of various streets over the course of a two (2) year period. Approximately 191,780 SY of paving and milling. All roads will require thermoplastic. Award will be based on lump sum price for roads listed in bid schedule. Additional roads during year 2 will be added or deleted based upon unit prices provided in the bid. Project Description: The City for Myrtle Beach is receiving bids for asphalt resurfacing of various streets throughout the City over the course of a two (2) year period. There will be approximately 191,780 SY's of Paving and 191,780 SY's of Milling. Asphalt shall be compacted to a thickness of 1.5", and Milling shall be at a depth of 1.5". Resurfacing of the streets listed as year 1 on the attached Bid Schedule are to be completed by June 1st, 2022. All Streets road markings will require thermoplastic. Road markings shall match current road markings. Temporary paint should be used for road markings after paving until thermoplastic can be installed. Attached maps are estimated quantities and all bidders should verify quantities prior to bidding. Award will be based on a lump sum price for the roads listed in the bid schedule. The City reserves the right to add or delete roads as necessary. Additional roads during year 2 will be added or deleted based upon unit prices provided in this bid.
