Renovation of a detention facility in Frankfort, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
A new 25-ton split system will be installed for the retail area. The new AHU will be similar size and configuration as existing unit. The outdoor condensing unit will be installed on new concrete pad. Two new duct mounted gas furnaces will be installed to replace the existing units. The supply and return ductwork will remain and only be reworked as needed for the new unit installation. A new cooling only ductless split system will replace the existing unit for the IT Room. The outdoor condensing unit will be installed on new concrete pad. New refrigerant piping will also be installed and the routing will match existing. A new heat pump ductless split system will be installed for the lower-level warehouse office. A new heat pump ductless split system will be installed for the upper-level warehouse office. All work associated with this room will be included as Add Alternate #1. Final completion for the entire project shall be achieved by midnight on June 2, 2022.
