Bids are for the furnishing of all labor and materials and all else necessary, consisting primarily of the following estimated quantities: SAID CONSTRUCTION GENERALLY CONSISTS OF ROADWAY, WATER AND SEWER UTILITIES, STORM SEWER, AND TURF ESTABLISHMENT. Sanitary Manholes 14 Each Water Metering Station 1 Each Each bid shall be accompanied by a bidder's bond naming the City of Maple Grove as oblige, certified check payable to the City Clerk of the City of Maple Grove or a cash deposit equal to at least five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, which shall be forfeited to the City in the event that the bidder fails to enter into a contract. Each bid shall also be accompanied by an approved affirmative action certification. The City Council reserves the right to retain the deposits of the three lowest bidders for a period not to exceed 30 days after the date and time set for the opening of bids. No bids will be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after the date and time set for opening bids. Payment for the work will be by cash or check. Contractors, subcontractors or material suppliers desiring a copy of the plans, specifications and proposal forms may purchase them from the office of SRF Consulting Group, Inc., 3701 Wayzata Boulevard, Suite 100, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55416 upon payment of $50.00, which is non-refundable. The Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and further reserves the right to award the contract to the best interest of the City.
