Renovation of an educational facility in Valdez, Alaska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
This project includes, but is not necessarily limited to: Replace existing roof, clerestory windows, select doors, louvers & plywood siding. Existing cedar siding will be repaired & refinished. Project Number: 21-310-9516 Contract Number: 2123 Cost Code: 310-9516-58000 Bid security in the amount of 5% of the total bid is required. For bids in excess of $100,000, Payment and Performance Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract amount are required. The City of Valdez encourages disadvantaged, minority and women-owned firms to respond and is available to assist said firms in learning how to do business with the City. Deadline for questions is Thursday October 19, 2023 at 5:00pm local time. Engineers Estimate for construction under $11,000,000. The City reserves the right to waive any irregularities or informalities in a bid and to reject any and all bids without cause.
