This project includes, but is not limited to, the installation of approximately: 6,986 LF of 24-inch ductile iron pipe 73 LF of 16-inch ductile iron pipe 28 LF of 12-inch ductile iron pipe 514 LF of 8-inch ductile iron pipe 37 LF of 6-inch ductile iron pipe 20 LF of 4-inch ductile iron pipe This project is located along Patton Avenue (US-19) between Florida Avenue and Haywood Road. Also included is a 24-inch water main trenchless crossing of New Leicester Highway, and other miscellaneous water system components including service connections and other appurtenances. The construction of this project is anticipated to be a period of 550 days (Final Completion), commencing on the date of the Notice to Proceed. Deadline to Submit Questions Wednesday, February 9, 2022 by 5:00pm Each Bid shall be accompanied by a cash, cashier's check or a certified check drawn on a bank or trust company insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation of an amount equal to not less than five (5) percent of the Bid. In lieu of making the cash deposit as above provided, such, Bidder may offer a Bid Bond of five (5) percent of the total Bid executed by a Corporate Surety licensed under the laws of North Carolina to execute such Bonds.
