Demolition and site work for an educational facility in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
The bids are for a single Prime Contract for the demolition of the entire exisitingJackson Elementary School. Bids shall be a lump sun basis; segregated sub-bids will not be accepted. Awards of Contract is anticipated to commence on or about February 14, 2022. Work may begin about June 1, 2022 (depends on May 27, 2022 being final day of school) and is scheduled to be completed by July 5, 2022 as shown on the Contract Documents. The project has a Targeted Small Business participation goal often percent (10%). This is a goal not a requirement The project is for a single prime contract that consists of demolition and disposal for the existing elementary school as outlined in Documents. This includes the asbestos abatement as outlined in the attached report.
