For RFP D/B - Kueber Center Office Additions The University of Louisville Athletic Department is seeking contractors to provide design and construction services to build several offices in the Kueber Center. A dietician's office will be built inside an existing room, creating 2 spaces with the new office having both door and window views into the main lobby. Another weight training office will be built in the weight room by moving an existing door, downsizing an existing window if necessary and creating an additional office by moving an existing wall between a storeroom and office to create 2 offices. The new office in the weight room will need the existing sound rack modified and moved out of the office. Bidders should make sure to include in their list of subs any contractors needed to complete the scope of work outlined in this IB. Bidders will also include costs to move an existing door and associated access equipment on the 2 nd floor to extend the women's basketball office space. Bidders will also include costs to install blinds along a set of windows on the 2nd floor of Kueber. There are 9 windows that measure approximately 9' 2" tall * 62.25 wide. Blinds should block out the sun to allow for team video review to occur within the space during the day. Bidders will review the current HVAC system on the 2nd Floor of the Kueber Center in the main lounge space and provide options to allow for better control of cooling and heating to 3 individual offices that are part of the main lounge HVAC system A guided tour of the job site may be held immediately after the Pre-Bid Conference. Only contractors who attend the pre-bid meeting will be allowed to participate in the job-site tour.
