Additionally, approximately 620 linear feet of 12" water line will be installed by methods of open cut, horizontal directional drilling, and bridge mounting to connect to the existing portions of water line. A casing pipe and decorative fencing will also be installed Bidders must submit, with their bids, a cashier's or certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the maximum amount bid, payable without recourse to CITY OF COLLEYVILLE, TEXAS, or a Bid Bond in the same amount from a City approved Surety Company (according to the latest list of companies holding certificates of approval by the State Board of Insurance under 7.19-1 of the Texas Insurance Code) as guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute bond and guarantee forms provided within (10) days after award of contract to their company. Bids without the required check or bid bond will be considered non-responsive. 1.6 ADDITIONAL BONDS The successful Bidder must furnish Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bonds each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price from an approved Surety Company.
