FINAL QUESTIONS must be submitted 72 hours before the due date and time which will allow for final addenda to be issued within that 72-hour period. Pursuant to Government Code Chapter 2269, subchapter D the City of Conroe hereby solicits Competitive Sealed Proposals for the CSP# 2021-17 Street rehab - North 6th Street Area. The City will provide a Construction Manager to represent the City in a fiduciary capacity, obtain construction materials testing services on behalf of the City, assist the City in evaluating the award of the construction contract and provide oversight on behalf of the City during construction. This project includes rehabilitation of approx. 15,800 linear feet of asphalt streets by resurfacing with hot-mix asphalt. The project scope also includes milling of approx. 26,000 square yards of exhisting asphalt, repairing approx. 1,200 linear feet of curb and gutter and miscellaneous drainage works. The City of Conroe is interested in working with a firm that has extensive experience in managing the construction of streets. The City will also place strong emphasis on the evaluation criteria used to determine "The Best Value" for the City of Conroe concerning this project.Faxed bids will not be considered.
