Fresno Housing is requesting bids for the demolition and new construction of a new office/laundry building at Monte Vista Terrace, located at 1018 N. Sherman Court, Fresno CA 93701. The bids shall include all labor, equipment, materials, and supplies necessary to complete the project. (Except as otherwise stated with the attached Specifications, set forth in the General Scope of Work, and in a condition acceptable to the Housing Authority). Bidders will be required to submit bids for construction projects, which require the payment of state prevailing wages and prevailing wages and certified payroll and 5% retention for this work. Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE) and/or Minority and/or Women Owned Business Enterprises (MBE/WBE) are encouraged to respond. A new 1,680 square foot single story building for Fresno Housing Authority on their existing site that encompasses approximately 5,060 s.f. of open land in the Monte Vista Terrace residential development. New construction will proceed once existing site improvements, building, covered storage and slab and foundations have been removed. Existing parking lot will remain with accessible parking upgrades with new asphalt slurry seal, striping and wheel stops. New work also includes new building and site improvements, which include new concrete entries walkways and stairs, relocation of existing wrought iron fence, and landscaping and irrigation system.
