CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 1/28/2022 5:00 PM Hempfield School District Board of Directors will act on the Bid at their regularly scheduled Meeting on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. The Bids must cover all costs for the completion of this project as set forth in the Project Manual. The principal items of work to be performed under the contract are: 1) sealing and long-term preventative work at the Landisville Intermediate School; 2) sealing, long-term preventative work, and loading dock concrete and handrail replacement for the Farmdale Elementary School; 3) repaving the central drive and stairs/loading dock repairs at the Centerville Elementary School; 4) sidewalk replacement at the Landisville Campus Quad parking lot; 5) sidewalk replacement at the Landisville Middle School; 6) replacement of sidewalk, concrete steps, and handrails at the High School; and 7) repair of critical drainage inlets and surrounding paving at areas indicated within the Landisville Campus. Bid security in an amount not less than 10% of the amount of the bid will be required in the form of certified check, cashier's check, bank treasurer's check, or satisfactory bid bond made payable to or naming as obligee Hempfield School District, Lancaster County. All bids will remain irrevocable for 60 days after the actual date of bid opening in compliance with Act 317 of 1978 approved November 26, 1978. Bidders are advised that they must comply with All State anti-kickback regulations pertaining to work associated with this project. You are required to submit an executed anti-collusion statement with the bid. Laws and regulations applicable to this Contract include the following: Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act No. 442 - Session of 1961) Public School Code A Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract and each with satisfactory corporate surety, will be required to be furnished by the successful bidder at the time stated in the specifications. Hempfield School District hereby reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, or informalities, in bids received, to reject any and/or all bids submitted and to accept any bid which it may deem to be in the best interests of the School District.
