Site work and new construction of a civil project in Merkel, Texas. Completed plans call civil work for a water / sewer project.
As of August 18, 2022, the project is under construction. Contract #3 - This contract consists of the building, site work, yard piping, electrical, SCADA, and miscellaneous items for the Henderson Storage Tank site as well as the building, pumps, piping, electrical, SCADA, and miscellaneous items for the Barnett Pump Station. SCADA and electrical at two remote valve sites is also included as well as relocation of an existing pressure tank. CONTRACT #4 - This contract includes the ground storage tank, tank coating, foundation, & tank disinfection at the Henderson Storage tank site as well as the standpipe, tank coating, foundation, & tank disinfection at the Barnett Pump Station site. ESTIMATED COST: Contract #3 - $600,000.00 Contract #4 - $1,050,000.00 NOTE: This project is subject to American Iron & Steel (AIS) requirements. Bidders should refer to RUS Bulletin 1780-35 included in the contract documents for more information. *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time. Interested subcontractors should contact the general contractor directly for more information.
