Site work for a water / sewer project in Pinole, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

**As of February 24, 2022 this project is not yet been awarded. The award schedule is on April 6, 2022. The work covered by this contract will be performed at City of Pinole. The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: Obtaining all permits and providing all necessary materials, supplies, equipment, services and personnel, to adequately carry out or complete the Project. Remove and replace 656 LF of 8" sewer with PVC C-900 if by open trench or HDPE if by pipe bursting and installation of three manholes. Performing work site cleanup duties, including, but not limited to removing all debris and placing materials, supplies and equipment in an organized manner prior to leaving the site daily. All other work as shown and specified in the Contract Documents Bids to receive consideration must be submitted by the bona fide prime contractor who proposes to undertake the work and who is properly licensed in accordance with the Contractor's License Law as provided beginning at Section 7000 of the Business and Professions Code of the State of California. The valid license(s) required for the work as follows: Class A (General Engineering Contractor), Class C-34 (Pipeline Contractor) or Class C-42 (Sanitation System Contractor). For each West County Wastewater Project, West County Wastewater has established the following goals for employment of West County Wastewater Residents: 1. At least 50% of the total work hours for the West County Wastewater Project shall be performed by West County Residents. 2. At least 50% of New Hires for the West County Wastewater Project shall be West County Residents for the duration of the West County Project. Payment Bond. After contract award, the successful Contractor must provide a payment bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price and issued by a California admitted surety. Full compensation for furnishing the payment bond is included in the Total Bid Price. Performance Bond. After contract award, the successful Contractor must provide a payment bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price and issued by a California admitted surety. Full compensation for furnishing the performance bond is included in the Total Bid Price. Each bid must be submitted on the forms furnished within the Contract Documents and must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or bidder's bond for an amount not less than ten percent of the aggregate total bid. The WCW Board of Directors reserves the right to reject any or all bids for the work and waive any irregularity in bids received.
