Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to an educational facility in Stony Mountain, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the addition of a 6,281-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

The project consists of a two story 6,281 square foot (583.5 square meter) 10 classroom addition to Waterford Springs Elementary School in northwest Winnipeg, Manitoba. The building structure will include concrete grade beams on concrete piles, precast concrete hollow core floor planks, insulated concrete block bearing walls, and a steel framed roof system. The lower exterior finish of the classroom addition will consist of tyndall stone veneer with ceramic brick veneer features to match existing school building. The upper exterior finish will consist of prefinished steel wall cladding to match existing school building. Demolition of existing building elements will be required to accommodate tie-ins to new construction. Exterior site work will match existing landscaping features. The Contractor shall within seven (7) calendar days of written notice, provide to the Owner a Performance Bond and, Labour and Material Payment Bond for 50% of the Contract Price.
