As of March 23, 2022 This project is already awarded to Rieth-Riley Construction Co. Inc. with the awarded amount of $1,644,174.85. The Town of Merrillville, Indiana will receive bids for the 2022 Town of Merrillville Community Crossing Project Asphalt Milling, Full Depth Patching, & Resurface of Madison St and Harrison St, and the Full Depth Reclamation with Asphalt Emulsion & Subgrade Patching of 83rd Ave in accordance with the Contract Documents, Construction Schedule and Specifications The Municipal Complex is open between 8 AM and 4 PM and there is a drop box at Municipal Complex entry way where bids may be left up until the time of opening. The Proposal must be made on the forms provided in the Contract Documents and provided in an envelope labeled "Merrillville 2022 Community Crossing Project." Each bid shall be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check, drawn on an acceptable bank, or an acceptable bidder's bond, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, payable to the Town of Merrillville, Indiana. The Contractor and all subcontractors will be required to comply with required Federal and State labor regulations. The Town of Merrillville, Indiana, reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or parts there-of and to waive all responsibility for irregularities in bids. It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded at the Town of Merrillville council meeting on February 8th, 2022.
