The OWNER is not obligated to consider a BIDDER’S proposal, if BIDDER is not on record with the Issuing Office as having received complete Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office The approximate extent and character of the Work will be performed within the limits of the Mulberry Rock Park Phase II and is generally described as follows: 1. Extension of an existing roadway to connect and create a loop road throughout the park 2. Proposed storm Culverts and roadway storm network work 3. Proposed sidewalk and trail work 4. Site grading 5. Water line installation 6. Erosion and Sediment Control Each BID must be accompanied by a Bid Bond with good and sufficient surety or sureties approved by the owner for faithful acceptance of the contract, payable to, in favor of, and for the protection of the OWNER in an amount equivalent to five percent (5%) of the total amount payable by the terms of the contract or, in lieu thereof, in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or cash in equal amount. The Successful BIDDER will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds with the executed Agreement meeting the requirements of the Contract Documents, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the BID. The overall time allowed for Substantial Completion for the total project is 240 calendar days, and the time allowed for completion and readiness for final payment is 270 calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed. This project will be constructed in one phase. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all BIDS, to waive formalities and re-advertise.
