Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in Wheeling, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 20,000-square-foot municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Project can generally be described as the complete demolition and legal offsite disposal of the existing building and parking lot including site restoration. The scope of the Project shall include all equipment, materials, labor, training, warranties and demolition services necessary to implement the contemplated construction. Scope: The intent of this Project is to demolish and remove a multilevel commercial building and parking lot, approximately 20,000 sq. ft. of building and 78,485 sq. ft. of total property, formerly known as the Collins Fireplace Shop. Location of property is 561 W. Dundee Road, Wheeling, Illinois. The Village has been the owner of the property since 2007 and utilized the building as a storage facility and impound lot. Upon review of the building’s current condition and use, the Village has selected to demolish it. This Project can generally be described as the complete demolition and legal offsite disposal of the existing building and parking lot including site restoration, and Work shall include all equipment, materials, labor, warranties and services necessary to implement the contemplated construction.
