The City of Englewood Utilities Department ("the City" or "City") is seeking Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified contractors to perform on-call services for tree trimming and vegetation removal. The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to competitively solicit and select up to two (2) contractors to enter into a Contract for Services (CFS) agreement with the City to perform on-call tree and vegetation trimming and removal. The work involves tree and vegetation trimming, removal, and hauling largely in the vicinity of Englewood's "City Ditch" that runs through Littleton and Englewood. Work primarily includes tree trimming, tree removal, chipping, stump grinding, removal of vegetation (shrubs, bushes, small trees, cattails, etc.), and hauling. The City prefers contractors who have access to a TreeMek, or similar equipment, that facilitates access to difficult areas. Close coordination with City staff will be conducted throughout the execution of the work.
