Sealed bids marked SEALED BID INSTALLATION OF GAS CIRCUIT BREAKER AND CONTROL PANELS PHASE II, VINTON PUBLIC POWER AUTHORITY, will be received by the Owner for the construction of the project described as follows: Proposals shall be designated as SEALED BID INSTALLATION OF GAS CIRCUIT BREAKER AND CONTROL PANELS. All bids must be submitted on forms provided. Any bids received after the specified time and date will not be considered. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids for just cause. Such actions will be in accordance with Title 38 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes. Each Bidder must deposit with his/her bid, security in the amount for and subject to the conditions provided in the information for Bidders. Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable on the Department of Treasury Circular 570. A bidder may withdraw his/her bid only in accordance with the Louisiana public bid law. The Contractor shall begin mobilization and procurement of materials within ten (10) working days of the receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The successful bidder will be required to execute the Owners Standard Form of Agreement/Contract for Construction together with the Performance and Payment Bonds within fifteen (15) working days after formal award of contract. Minority owned firms and small businesses are encouraged to participate.
