Red Bank Charter School Gymnasium Alterations Location- 135 Monmouth Street Red Bank, NJ 07701 The School Business Administrator/Board Secretary of the Red Bank Charter School in the Borough of Red Bank, in the County of Monmouth, State of New Jersey, by authority of said Board, solicits sealed bid proposals for: Red Bank Charter School Gymnasium Alterations at 135 Monmouth Street, Red Bank, NJ Bidders must hold a General Construction (#C008) or General Construction - Additions & Alterations (#C009) Trade Classification from NJ Treasury Dept, Division of Property Management and Construction to be eligible to submit a bid for this project. The Red Bank Charter School reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive immaterial formalities in any bid if deemed to be in the interest of the Board of Education. The Board of Education takes no responsibility for the punctual receipt of mailed bids. All bids mailed are done so at the risk of the bidder, must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the bid title; Gymnasium Alterations Red Bank Charter School. Bids must be made on the proposal Bid Form provided and submitted with a "Bid Bond" or "Certified Check" in the sum of not less than ten (10) percent of the amount of the proposal, not to exceed $20,000. Bidders are required to submit with their proposal, written consent of a Surety Bond, and agree to execute the required performance bond in accordance with the specification requirements. As this project will exceed $20,000, contractors must be DBC pre-qualified by the State of New Jersey in accordance with NJSA 18A:18-9. Further, each must comply with the requirements of P.L.1975, c. 127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27), PL1977, c.33, and PL 1999, c.440, - submitting proof of contractor registration (prevailing wage certification) pursuant to NJSA 34:11-56.48 et seq.
