Remodeling of a clubhouse / community center in Salina, Kansas. Working plans call for the remodel of a 430-square-foot clubhouse / community center.

Salina Senior Center - Remodel Storage Building Bidders must be prequalified by Owner Remodel of an existing structure approximately 430 S.F., located west of existing Salina Senior Center Facility. Demolition includes removal of existing wood window covers, entry door and garage door/frame. Removal of roof system while leaving existing wood trusses in tack and repair as needed. Repointing of exterior façade along facility and seal upon completion of restoration. Remove existing floor joists, wood decking and material/debris left inside by Owner. Remove existing abandoned boiler tank and piping in their entirety and power wash interior face brick. Construct new floor system, construct wood stair system to basement level and run new electrical system for lighting, switching and outlets. Install new doors/windows within existing openings and install new single-ply roofing system. Construct new trash enclosure and steel pipe bollards along the south side of storage building Anticipated Bid Approval: On or before February 21st, 2022 Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Bidders shall begin the Work upon signing of Contract and on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. The bidders will determine the Contract Time in the Bid Proposal. In the event that Work is not complete within period determined, Contractor shall pay liquidated damages in the sum of $150.00 for each consecutive calendar day thereafter.
