Project Description: Construction of a new concrete access drive, approximately 4,045 S.F. to include concrete curb and gutter, new concrete approach from Park Street ending at existing asphalt parking lot. New solar lighting will line either side of drive. Demolition includes curb and gutter, excavation for drive, existing deteriorated concrete and removal of existing entry door and frame. Included with improvements are new concrete sidewalk/infill area, patio area and minor relocation of existing plumbing hose bib and exterior electrical devices. The project has two alternates, Alternate #1 is to construct approximately 1097 S.F. canopy spanning from main entry to southern part of the access drive to allow vehicles to pass below. Steel framing supports, wrapped with wood framing and covered with EIFS system that is similar in texture/color to existing facility (refer to construction documents for more information). Alternate #2 relates to material for access drive, in lieu of concrete access, provide cost for asphalt. Concrete curb and gutter and approach will remain concrete per design.
