The City of Oakdale utilizies an electronic service provided by Quest Network (CDN) to advertise project plans and specifications, track planholders, and receive bids. Through this website link, potential bidders and builders exchanges can preview current projects at no charge or download project plans and specifications for a fee. Obtaining plans through this website automatically enters the bidder onto an electronic planholders list which will streamline distribution of addendums on behalf of the City. This website is a supplement to the City's advertising process and will not displace the procedures in place for publication of projects. The work to be performed in general consists of the installation of an inverted siphon structure, approximately 1,700 lineal feet of a three barrel inverted siphon under the Stanislaus River from the southeast corner of the Oak Avenue, River Avenue, and Kimball Street intersection to the WWTP located at 9700 Liberini Avenue, Oakdale, CA installed using horizontal direction drilling (HDD) and open-cut methods, upstream and downstream connections to existing piping, demolition of existing piping, and site work improvements to accommodate the new piping and structures. All interested parties may secure copies of the proposed contract documents from through the website listed above. There is a non-refundable fee of $15.00 for each set of Contract Documents and a non-refundable fee of $10.00 to bid on the project.
