Anoka Technical College is requesting proposals to assist in developing a working relationship with the selected vendor (or vendors) that include lawn care services for Anoka Technical College. This RFP is undertaken by Anoka Technical College pursuant to the authority contained in provisions of Minnesota Statutes 136F.581 and other applicable laws. Accordingly, Anoka Technical College shall select the vendor(s) whose proposal(s), and oral presentation(s) if requested, demonstrate in Anoka Technical College's sole opinion, the clear capability to best fulfill the purposes of this RFP in a cost effective manner. Anoka Technical College reserves the right to accept or reject proposals, in whole or in part, and to negotiate separately as necessary in order to serve the best interests of Anoka Technical College. This RFP shall not obligate the Anoka Technical College to award a contract or complete the proposed project and it reserves the right to cancel this RFP if it is considered to be in its best interest. This group will evaluate the proposals and make the final decision. The following factors and their identified weight will be used to evaluate the responses: 1. Price [OR Price in relation to level of service to be provided] 40 Points 2. Ability of proposal to meet RFP objectives and requirements 10 Points 3. Detail and accuracy of the work plan 20 Points 4. Qualifications of Vendor and its personnel (experience of personnel who are committed to work on the contract will be given greater weight) 10 Points 5. Completeness, thoroughness and detail of the response as reflected by the proposal's discussions and coverage of all elements of work listed above 10 Points 7. Targeted Business Inclusion: Vendor is a certified TGB and/or commits to sub-contracting 10% or more of the value of the contract to a certified TGB 10 Points Minnesota State desires to enter into a contract with the successful Vendor(s) effective Tuesday, April 1, 2022, or on the date the last recognized signature is obtained, whichever occurs later. The length of such contract(s) will be for 5 years. If Minnesota State and Vendor are unable to negotiate and sign a contract by April 1, 2022, then Minnesota State reserves the right to seek an alternative Vendor(s)
