Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Broomfield, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Arista Metropolitan District Capital Improvements (Parkland Street Extension & Gallery Park) Arista Metropolitan District will receive sealed Bids for the Arista Metropolitan District Capital Improvements. The Project is located within the Arista Development in Broomfield, Colorado. The Project consists of two separate sub-project which are the extension of Parkland Street and Gallery Park. Parkland Street The completion of Parkland Street will connect Destination Drive to Wadsworth Boulevard (SH 121). This sub-project will consist of approximately 1,000+/- LF of road within the jurisdiction of the City and County of Broomfield. It will also include 1,700+/- LF of work on Wadsworth Boulevard within the jurisdiction of the Colorado Department of Transportation. Work will also include the creation of a new left turn lane, an acceleration and deacceleration lane, and the creation of a new intersection (right in, right out). Scope will also include approximately 30 new angled parking spaces that will front the future Gallery Park. Wet utilities are existing, some streetlights will need to be added, and some subgrade analysis and stabilization may be required. Cooperation with the adjacent multi-family development will be required to coordinate utility tie-ins for that project. The contractor should be familiar with current Colorado Department of Transportation specifications as well as the City and County of Broomfield. Parkland Street will need to be completed by August 31st, 2022. Gallery Park Gallery Park is a rectangular parcel that is located along Destination Drive to the east, Arista Place to the north, and the future Parkland Street to the south. The park is 1.99 acres in size and will contain the following: Deciduous Canopy Trees (qty 39) Evergreen Trees (qty 15) Deciduous Ornamental Trees (qty 18) Deciduous Shrubs (qty 64) Evergreen Shrubs (qty 52) Ornamental Grasses (qty 838) Perennials (qty 36) Various Dryland See Mix and Sod Dog Park Central Seating Area Drinking Fountain New irrigation throughout Sidewalk path along Destination Drive and throughout the park Earthwork, grading and soil preparation lighting and various site furnishings Contractors should be familiar with the specifications for parks, landscaping and irrigation for the City and County of Broomfield. Gallery Park will need to commence and complete in 2023. The Owner anticipates that a Notice to Proceed will be issued on February 18, 2022, and it will be required for the selected contractor to fully mobilize within thirty (30) days following the Notice to Proceed. The selected contractor will be required to complete the Parkland Street Extension by August 31, 2022, and Gallery Park in 2023 (final dates to be coordinated with contractor and adjacent multi- family project). Bids shall be made on the forms furnished by the Owner and shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope and endorsed with the name of the Bidder. A Bid Bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total Bid amount will be required. The Bid Bond will be retained by Owner as liquidated damages should the Successful Bidder fail to enter into a Contract with the Owner in accordance with the Bid. Bidders must supply a list of Subcontractors providing $5,000 or more in labor and/or materials to the Project. Attention is called to the fact that Bidders offer to assume the obligations and liabilities imposed by the Contract Documents. The Successful Bidder for the Project will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond in the full amount of the Contract Price; in conformity with the requirements of the Contract Documents. The Owner has the option to select a final Bidder 30 days following the bid opening. Bidders are hereby advised that the Owner reserves the right to not award a Contract until ninety (90) days from the date of the opening of Bids, and Bidders expressly agree to keep their Bids open for the ninety (90) day time period. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any informality, technicality or irregularity in any Bid, to disregard all non-conforming, non- responsive, conditional or alternate Bids, to negotiate contract terms with the Successful Bidder, to require statements or evidence of Bidders' qualifications, including financial statements, and to accept the proposal that is in the opinion of the Owner in its best interest. Owner reserves the right to accept any combination of Bids which in Owner's sole, and absolute judgment will, under all circumstances, best serve the Owner's interests. Owner also reserves the right to extend the Bidding period by Addendum if it appears in its interest to do so.
