Any contract resulting from this RFP shall be effective for twelve months from date of award. The City anticipates that contract shall be renewed pursuant to the availability of funds and at the discretion of the City. The City of Southlake is requesting Proposals with the intent of awarding a contract for the purchase of goods and services contained in Appendix A - Scope of Services. Deadline for Submittal of Written Questions January 26, 2022 The City of Southlake is seeking vendor(s) for irrigation pump, motor and control panel preventive maintenance and repair services. These services shall include, but not be limited to, checking incoming power, test running the pumps and motors for performance, adjusting flow output, checking electrical connections, confirming operation of programmable logic controller, variable frequency drive (VFD), inspecting heat exchangers, inspecting control and check valves, inspecting/cleaning filters, checking oil level on motors, oil changes on motors at recommended intervals, lubricating motors and equipment as required, inspecting pump cooling water lines for proper operation, checking gauges and bladder tanks. These services shall also include all repairs of equipment to include, but not limited to, replacing motors, check valves, pumps, electronics and electrical connections and replacement of the bladder tank. All technician or technician helper hourly labor rate pricing must include all required service vehicles and equipment to perform requested services. Cranes or other heavy-duty equipment, if required, and approved by City, shall be listed as a pass through cost by vendor. Documentation of actual costs may be requested/required.
