Project is for work at the Riverfront Community Center located at 123 S. Esplanade St. in Leavenworth, KS. Direct all questions to Steve Grant, Director of Parks and Recreation, at SGrant@firstcity.org REPLACEMENT OF EXISTING COOLING TOWERS Disconnect, remove and dispose of (2) existing cooling towers, wiring, pump, strainers, & exterior piping. Modify existing structural support steel to accommodate new tower(s). Replace towers with (2) Baltimore Aircoil # PT2-0709A, or equivalent, 166 Nominal ton galvanized towers, with stainless steel basin, EVERTOUGH corrosion resistance coating. One single (2) cell cooling tower is acceptable. Reconfigure existing condenser system makeup water including materials as needed to accommodate new tower(s). Reconfigure existing tower supply and return water including materials to accommodate new tower(s).. Reconfigure existing power wiring including materials to accommodate nswtower(s). Make all connections, fill system and test operation. Balance water flow as needed for naw tower(s). Vsrify proper operation and maximum output of new tower(s). Provide owner operation and routine maintenance training. Provide minimum one year parts and labor warranty for all material and labor supplied and installed. ADDITION OF SECONDARY (AUXILIARY) TOWER WATER PUMP Layout and dig pump base pad footing for new pump, Footing must be below frost line. Pour footing and pad for new pump. Install new Taco Model #4011D 20.0 horsepower vertical inline split coupled pump, or equivalent, on pad Reconfigure existing watertower piping to accommodate second pump & connect both pumps. Reconfigure existing power wiring to accommodate both pumps & connect to new pump starter. New and existing pumps to require manual energization to operation. Pumps to run simultaneously. Test operation of new pump A balance to proper flow.
