Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Concord, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Scope of Work includes but is not limited to: Approximately 2,300 lineal feet of improvements along SR 1304 (Roberta Road), new signalized intersection @ SR 1307 (Blackwelder Road) and SR 1304 (Roberta Road, grading and erosion control, storm water, utility relocation, asphalt milling, curb and gutter, sidewalks, landscaping, and new asphalt work and associated striping. Additional improvements will be required on approximately 580 lineal feet of SR 1306 (Cochran Road) for the City of Concord and include minimal widening, curb and gutter, storm drainage, utility relocation, and sidewalks. All bidders are notified that the provisions of NCGS 143-128 and 143-129, including guidelines for minority business enterprise participation (143-128.2) shall be observed in letting and executing the work. All work will conform to North Carolina Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Roads and Structures v.2018 Bidders are also notified that they must be properly licensed under the state laws governing their respective trades and that applicable provisions of Chapter 87 of the General Statutes of the State of North Carolina shall be observed in the receiving of bids and awarding of contracts for the work. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid amount shall be submitted with each bid. A Performance Bond and separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in the full amount of the contract, shall be submitted prior to executing the work. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, to waive informalities, and to award the contract to other than the low bidder should it be deemed in the Owner s best interest. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after receipt of bids.
