Renovation of a mixed-use development in Quincy, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The work includes removing existing HVAC equipment from approximately15 classrooms, removing several roof top units and removing approximately 15,000 SQFT of roofing and insulation. The work includes installing a new membrane roof with new insulation, new HVAC equipment for the classrooms, and new RTU's, along with associated piping and electrical systems. The contractor must pay prevailing wages for Branch County, Michigan, in accordance with the Davis-Bacon Act, 20 USC 1232g. Questions can be addressed to: JoAn K. A Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of Base Bids shall accompany each proposal. The Bid Security may be in the form of a Bid Bond, Cashier's Check, or Money Order. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the bid date. Additional bond requirements are listed in the bid specifications. Substantial Completion for the Project is targeted as August 17, 2022. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, accept a bid other than the low bid, and to waive informalities, irregularities and/or errors in the bid proposals which they feel to be in their own best interest.
