Contract No: DA-011 Water System Improvements Towns of Cheektowaga and Amherst Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Total MWBE Participation Goals: 10% Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. The Erie County Water Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to accept any bid deemed to be for the best interest of the Water Authority even though the proposal chosen may result in the award of the contract to a bidder whose bid is not mathematically lowest. All questions about meaning or intent of the bidding documents shall be submitted to the designated contact person in writing. The designated contact is Peter A. Ringo, P.E., Project Manager at DiDonato Associates, 689 Main Street, Buffalo, New York 14203, telephone (716) 656-1900, and email pringo@didonato.cc. The Erie County Water Authority will receive separate, sealed bids for the furnishing of all labor, plant, tools, equipment and specified materials or services for the ERIE COUNTY WATER AUTHORITY, Water System Improvements, Town of Cheektowaga and Town of Amherst. The Work consists of a single contract for the installation of approximately 8,700 linear feet of 8-inch Ductile Iron Pipe and appurtenances on various streets, Town of Cheektowaga and Town of Amherst.
